CareCredit is a private label healthcare credit card designed to pay for medical, dental and veterinarian procedures not covered by insurance.
In 2016, CareCredit tasked Wunderman with launching the CareCredit Rewards Mastercard, a new credit card through which cardholders can receive rewards for making purchases within the CareCredit network or anywhere else Mastercard is accepted.
As the lead Art Director on the project, I have been responsible for brand positioning, logos, the card design (which was later applied to the private label card, as well), leading a lifestyle photoshoot, website and email layouts, direct mail pieces, marketing videos and various other assets.
Art direction of landing pages, emails and direct mail pieces for energy company Southern California Edison (SCE). To ensure accessibility, all pieces were built responsively and compliant with the latest WCAG design standards.
Responsive email designs for loanDepot, the nation's second largest nonbank provider of direct-to-consumer loans. The ask from the client was to redesign their 7-day drip email series to prospective customers.
Previously, the layouts for these emails were plain and text-based with no visual interest. Through my redesign, I introduced brand colors, iconography, and utilized the expressive shape of the "D" in the logo to frame lifestyle photography.
Art direction of various digital and print initiatives for Hyundai Capital, including the Hyundai Protection Plan website, Hyundai Business Vehicle Solutions branding, Kia Finance dealership binder and Hyundai Protection Plan trade publication ads.
Art direction and UI/UX for clear aligner brand Invisalign, which includes a full-page ad in the New York Times with accompanying digital ad banners celebrating the 3 millionth Invisalign patient, interactive cost calculator and redesign of the marketing emails template to a responsive and modular layout.
In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) design on the Android OS for avionics company Thales. Utilizing my UI/UX expertise, I have created immersive environments and robust features which range from search functionality and passenger satisfaction surveys to AccuWeather forecasts and a full-scale eCommerce shopping experience.
Redesign of the Wunderman Los Angeles website featuring a fresh new look, responsive template and integrated social media feed. Other work for the agency includes art direction for a series of ads promoting the Hall Of Femme awards for influential women in marketing and a t-shirt design celebrating Wunderman Day, a day of charity benefitting the local community.
A series of layouts for the website Verizon Insider, a destination for “tips, tricks and tech for the ultimate mobile life.” Each layout consisted of a concept, theme and design which I created to advertise the latest Verizon devices and services.
These designs strike a successful balance between unique, memorable user experiences and brand-conscious marketing tools. The first, second and fourth examples on the page show layouts integrating innovative web plugins such as the Feedmagnet social media hub.
Series of t-shirt designs for The Disney Store. I was provided character artwork and created the themes, copy and layouts. I also recommended where special print treatments would be applied on each design (reflective ink, glitter, etc.).
Outdoor and direct mail campaign for Health Net, direct mail pieces for AARP/Torrid Plus Sizes, signage for Torrid Plus Sizes/Hot Topic, sell Sheet for Emida Global Prepaid Solutions and packaging for Pura Naturals Sponges. Responsible for all art direction, photoshoots, image retouching, typography, layout and print production (sourcing vendors, press checks).

Outside of graphic design, one of my passions in life is photography. Here are a few shots of one of my favorite subjects, Disneyland, captured with my Sony a7S II and Canon T3i.
